This ship was the third of five in succession to carry the name of Innisfallen on services on the Irish Sea between Cork and Fishguard. The third Innisfallen was launched in 1948 by “B & I Lines” (British and Irish Lines). The B&I had an advertising slogan: "Travel the Innisfallen Way". She was sold to a Greek shipping company and renamed in 1967. The ship was broken up in the Italian port of Brindisi in 1985.
